Description: We are US based looking to outsource our requirement of Web Design Service. We are looking for redesign of website.
Scope:
1. The design should be consistent and should have unique color scheme throughout the website. Also our logo should be placed on every page.
2. Provide for high-speed upload/download response times for low end to high end PCs used by average user.
3. Provide webpage metadata to search engines.
4. Must have extensive capability to create links/linkage symbols & appropriate graphics.
5. Must be secure and must meet emerging industry standard guidelines on privacy and accessibility including Section 508 of the Workforce Rehabilitation Act and meet ADA Priority 1 requirements (www.ada.gov/websites2_prnt.pdf ).
6. Website must also comply with W3C Content Accessibility Guidelines
7. The site must be designed to function effectively with common versions of software and hardware, including NN/IE 6 for PC and Mac, Safari, Mozilla, Firefox and Opera browsers.
8. Include links for users to download any browser supplement products, such as Acrobat Reader, that is necessary to view information on the site.
9. Take into consideration our future desire to include e-commerce capabilities to enable secure on-line credit card purchases, verification, fulfillment, and acceptance and e-government (using the Govern ERP eGov and credit card processing systems) transactions such as on-line permitting, park and facility reservations, class registrations, employment recruitment applications and other interactive forms.
10. Current site capabilities for public works permits, job applications, committee volunteers, polling place database, Section 8 housing applications, customer eContacts and other online forms must be maintained. A future capability for landlord notifications is in development. These functions are provided through various .NET connections to a back-end SQL database.
11. The property search function must be maintained.
12. Tight integration with the public GIS information site is desired.
13. Integration with the Laserfiche Weblink document management platform is required.
14. All documents formatted in PDF must include the ability to perform a full text search within the PDF document.
15. Able to provide a news feed via Real Simple Syndication (RSS).
16. Should be built to withstand security attacks including Cross Site Scripting (XSS), SQL Injection attacks and Cross Site Request forgeries (CSRF).
17. We must be able to control levels of permission & approval for our employees uploading information to site, and must have ability to delete permissions for terminated employees.


This is a global and off site tender. Interested service providers are requested to contact no later than June, 21, 2010, 12:00 Noon by courier, post or email. Service providers may have to visit our premises for meetings or briefings.
