Description: We are India (Delhi) based looking to outsource our requirement of Web Design and development Service. We are looking for redesign and development of website.
Scope:
1. Re-create and greatly enhance the existing website to be resourceful, informative, highly beneficial, easy to use, interactive, and architecturally sound and serve as a marketing asset that provides a citizen/business friendly environment which emphasizes access to our activities.
2. Design needs to be as per “Guidelines for Indian Government Websites” in http://web.guidlines.gov.in/ and also as per web standards in bilingual (English & Hindi) Form.
3. All Contents by us in English shall be translated to Hindi and website replicated in Hindi.
4. Website must provide consistent orientation and navigational aids, such as hierarchical menus that tell users how deep they are into a topic or subtopic as well as a homepage link or icon on each page in the same position.
5. Include e-mail response, surveys, feedback and forms.
6. Graphic files should be relative to site & designed with simplicity to allow quickest loading.
7. Track page hits as per our function. Maintenance software that includes reporting functions would be valuable.
8. Form Printing. A number of static forms will be available for printing. Website must have links or embedded plug-ins such as Java and Adobe for opening and viewing these documents.
9. Main menu items should extend to all pages, with clear indication of one’s location.
10. A clear and uniformed navigation path should be established throughout the site. Pages should remain aesthetically appealing and consistent with our logo and branding without compromising the speed of navigation and download of pages.
11. Every effort should be made to ensure that the user is able to find any page within three clicks or less from the Home Page.
12. All the main pages of the site should he identified and places on as site map for quick reference and ease of navigation to selected content.
13. Page Load/Refresh and image Download Performance: It is important that industry best practice is used and implemented to optimize page load and image download performance. The web page must be optimized to reduce page load time.
14. We have developed software ‘Complaint Monitoring System' which needs to be uploaded on website. The database use for this software is SQL.
15. The source code, photos, text, design, trademarks, or other artwork furnished in designing of website shall be owned by us upon the completion of the successful implementation of website
This is an on shore and off site tender. The EMD is 25,000 INR. Interested service providers are requested to contact no later than May, 17, 2010, 3:30 PM by courier, post or email.
