Description: We are Canada based looking to outsource our requirement of Web design and development Service. We are looking for redesign of website. Service Provider will have to design and develop a new website in English and French.

Scope:
1. English and French versions of main setup. French site should have same look and feel but will have fewer pieces posted
2 Look and feel: Clean, uncluttered, visually strong with home page consisting of one strong image at top and sparse information divided into about 6 sections below. Pages, especially the home page, to be shallow in length. Other pages to follow similar look and feel with at least one strong image on top.
3. Number of distinct pages: approximately 6-8 based on these general themes:
Inside Pages: About Us/What We Do, For Employers (business), For Career Builders (employees/job-seekers), Partnerships/Projects, Labour Market Information, Links/Resources, Publications/Archives and Media Centre.
4. Ease of Navigation: Information should be grouped and presented in a simple and logical manner so that it takes a minimum of clicks to get to desired information.
5. Ability to self upload videos, images, podcasts, copy, PDFs, including latest news and reports.
6. Members Only site link for board members (please quote separately what added cost would be)
7. Calendar feature on home page
8. Online registration capability for upcoming events – clicking on upcoming event on home-page calendar will take user to more information and online registration option.
9. Search site capability using key phrases
10. Search engine optimization for users to easily find our site
11. Links for social networking tools, such as Twitter, Face book, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
12. Ability to include blog element, if deemed relevant.
13. RSS feed capability.
14. Ability to transfer existing web content to new site.
15. Ability to archive older reports (perhaps so that after a certain amount of time they become invisible to users but can be accessed by staff)
16. We will provide privacy statement
17. Have standard links – approximately 5 – to Employment Ontario, Brant Jobs, Local Boards, Employer Registry and LostMyJob. Some of these to be accessed from the main page; others from a Links page.

This is an on shore and off site tender. The estimated tender value is 3500 CAD to 4500 CAD. Interested service providers are requested to contact no later than May, 14, 2010, 4:00 PM by courier, post or email. Service providers may have to visit our premises for meetings or briefings.
