Description: We are US based looking to outsource our requirement of Web Design and Development Service. We are looking for web design and development service.

Scope:
1. Redesign our existing web site with an updated look and feel, improving usability and organization.
2. Implement a content management system that allows staff to maintain their specific information within a common framework, and migrate our existing content to the new infrastructure.
3. We would like to migrate this mostly static web site to a full content managed solution hosted in a secure, reliable data center with redundant power backups and multiple fiber connections to multiple internet providers
4. We would like the platform selected to fulfill the following requirements:
• Uses a core technology which is readily available on most major ISPs in the United States (e.g. PHP, Ruby, Java, ASP)
• Uses open-source code (Drupal, WordPress, CodeIgniter)
• Has the ability to extend the base platform through plugins and/or addons
• Has the ability to support multiple “themed” looks
• Uses MySQL or PostgreSQL database
5. Currently, we are leaning towards using an open-source technology such as Drupal 6 or Word Press 3, however, we are open to alternative source.

This is an on shore and off site tender. Interested service providers are requested to contact no later than January, 14, 2011 by courier, post or email. Service providers may have to visit our premises for meetings or briefings. Please refer the attachment for more details.
