Description: We are Austria based looking to outsource our requirement of Web Design and Development Service. We are looking for design and development of website. We need providers that can design a well-designed, contemporary website with multilingual and multimedia capability to present information about the event to the expected high no. of website visitors from across the region.

Scope:
1. HOSTING: The website shall be self-contained, on a separate sub-domain hosted on our own infrastructure or on an external server
2. TECHNOLOGY: The website shall use a popular, off-the-shelf, PHP/MySQL based and open-source CMS, preferably Drupal. Other popular open-source content management systems, including but not limited to Wordpress, Joomla are acceptable.
3. USER INTERFACE:
a. The website shall have its own custom design theme, based on mockups designed by Service Provider and guided by our corporate visual identity:
b. User interface elements shall be translated in six of our official languages (English, French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish). Translations will be provided by us.
c. The website shall have the following pages:
i. Home page, containing a big carousel/slideshow block, announcements, press releases, agenda etc
ii. Several static pages (e.g. About, Registration, Copyright, Privacy, Contacts, etc.)
iii. Photo gallery
iv. Video gallery
v. Audio gallery
vi. List of documents, with three alternative views: a flat list in reverse chronological order, grouped by conference session, grouped by document source/author.
4. CONTENT:
a. Website content and navigation elements shall be entirely managed via the CMS back-end (content items, navigation elements)
b. Global website navigation elements shall consist of a global menu at the top and secondary links at the bottom
c. Website items shall contain buttons/links for bookmarking and sharing services
d. The system shall support Short news updates, Press releases, Feature articles, interviews, Photo galleries - embedded in other items and standalone, Audio/video clips, teasers for YouTube clips and Documents, aggregated from our website via RSS
5. EXPECTED OUTPUT AND PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
a. Design mockups for the website homepage (at least two alternatives) and second-level pages, based on the wireframes, sitemaps and the visual design manual provided by us
b. CMS source code, including any third-party modules/extensions.
c. Website theme source code, including all the templates and CSS
6. REPORTS AND TIME SCHEDULE: Weekly review meetings (face to face, online or e-mail)

This is an on shore and offsite tender. Interested service providers are requested to contact no later than September, 17, 2010, 12:00 Noon by courier, post or email. Service providers may have to visit our premises for meetings or briefings. Please refer the attachment for more details.
